Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Melia Lodge

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha or directly from the airport. After a warm welcome and safari briefing, you’ll begin your scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich wildlife diversity.

Enjoy a 5–6 hour game drive through the park, where you’ll spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 400 bird species. Your professional guide will navigate the park’s rolling savannas and riverbanks, ensuring incredible photo opportunities throughout the day.

A delicious picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing your game drive. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head toward the Ngorongoro Highlands for a relaxing evening at the luxurious Ngorongoro Lodge – Melia Collection, where you can unwind with panoramic crater views, gourmet dining, and a cozy atmosphere.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Departure

After a hearty breakfast at your lodge, descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders and home to the highest density of wildlife on the continent.

Enjoy a 4–5 hour game drive across the crater floor, where you’ll have the chance to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino—alongside hippos, flamingos, and countless antelope species. The crater’s breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife make it one of Tanzania’s top safari experiences.

A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot near the hippo pool before you begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or directly at the airport for your onward journey.
