4-Day Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Materuni Waterfalls Safari

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and begin the scenic 7-hour drive to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of the Ngorongoro Highlands and the vast savannahs stretching toward the horizon.

Upon entering the Serengeti, experience the park’s endless plains, diverse wildlife, and spectacular skies. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive, spotting animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and wildebeest before heading to your campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti before returning to camp for brunch. Afterward, continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with wildlife viewing en route.

Your experienced guide will share insights about Tanzania’s ecosystems and wildlife as you drive toward the crater rim. Arrive at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite in the late afternoon, where you’ll have dinner and enjoy stunning views over the crater before settling in for the night.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater offers one of the best chances to spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy lunch near the hippo pool, surrounded by incredible views of the lake and wildlife. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at Jevas Hotel.

Day 4: Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Tour & Chemka Hot Springs

Enjoy a guided walk through lush tropical rainforest to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls. Learn about local traditions, the Chagga lifestyle, and the surrounding flora.

After a delicious local lunch and coffee-making experience, continue to Chemka Hot Springs, where you can swim, relax, and unwind in crystal-clear turquoise waters. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha — marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.
