5-Day Group Mid-Range Safari
Join a 5-day group mid-range safari exploring some of Tanzania’s most renowned national parks. Experience the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife of Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. This safari offers comfortable accommodations and memorable game drives, making it an ideal adventure for nature enthusiasts.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:00 AM after Breakfast. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 2 hours (120 km). Upon arrival, enjoy a 5-6 hour game drive in the park.
Tarangire National Park Highlights:
- Elephants: Marvel at the large herds of elephants, often with playful calves in tow.
- Diverse Wildlife: Spot lions lounging under trees, giraffes grazing in the open plains, and zebras and wildebeests migrating through the park.
- Birdwatching: Look out for a variety of bird species, including the striking African fish eagle and colorful lovebirds.
- Scenic Landscapes: The park’s baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River offer beautiful vistas perfect for photography.
Lunch will be served inside the park. After the game drive, transfer to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at Suricata Boma Lodge, drive to Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately 4-5 hours (250 km). Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the vast Serengeti plains.
Serengeti National Park Highlights:
- The Great Migration: Depending on the time of year, witness the awe-inspiring migration of wildebeests and zebras.
- Big Cats: The Serengeti is famous for its high density of lions, as well as cheetahs and leopards.
- Scenic Plains: Experience the endless plains dotted with acacia trees, home to diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, and hyenas.
- Birdlife: Over 500 species of birds, including ostriches, secretary birds, and vultures.
Lunch will be served en route or upon arrival. In the evening, check into Matawi Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at Matawi Camp, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro Crater, a drive of approximately 3 hours (150 km). Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in the crater.
Ngorongoro Crater Highlights:
- Big Five: Encounter lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and leopards in this unique ecosystem.
- Diverse Wildlife: The crater floor is teeming with life, including zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and a variety of bird species.
- Stunning Scenery: Marvel at the breathtaking views from the crater rim and the diverse landscapes within the crater.
- Cultural Heritage: Learn about the Maasai people who live around the crater and their coexistence with wildlife.
Lunch will be served inside the park. In the evening, check into Angata Ngorongoro Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, enjoy another game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Lunch will be served inside the park. In the afternoon, drive to Lake Manyara and check into Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Arusha
After breakfast at Suricata Boma Lodge, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

- Birdwatching: Home to over 400 bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks.
- Scenic Beauty: The park offers stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the tranquil Lake Manyara.
- Diverse Wildlife: Spot elephants, hippos, giraffes, and buffaloes in the lush forest and open plains.
Lunch will be served inside the park. After the game drive, drive back to Arusha and check into Summit Lodge for overnight.
