Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your private safari begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or directly from the airport at 8:00 AM. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive (approximately 120 km) to Tarangire National Park, a haven for wildlife and home to Tanzania’s largest elephant herds.
Upon arrival, embark on a 5–6 hour game drive, exploring Tarangire’s diverse habitats and rich wildlife.
Tarangire National Park Highlights:
Elephants: Witness large herds, often with playful calves.
Diverse Wildlife: Spot lions resting under acacia trees, giraffes grazing, and herds of zebras and wildebeests.
Birdwatching: Look out for colorful species like the African fish eagle and lovebirds.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive takes approximately 4–5 hours, passing through the beautiful highlands and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may spot wildlife along the way.
Upon arrival in the Seronera region of Serengeti, embark on an afternoon game drive across the endless plains. Experience the thrill of spotting the park’s diverse wildlife and immerse yourself in one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.
Serengeti National Park Highlights:
Big Cats: Look out for lions, cheetahs, and leopards in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Start your day early with a sunrise game drive, the best time to witness predators in action and the plains coming alive with wildlife. Spend the day exploring different regions of the Serengeti, following animal tracks and enjoying breathtaking views of this vast ecosystem.
Enjoy a hot picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic areas within the park before continuing your adventure in the afternoon. Your guide will help you spot a wide variety of wildlife, from large predators to graceful grazers.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive or optional nature walk through the highlands, surrounded by rolling hills, lush forests, and panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley. The area is teeming with wildlife and offers a refreshing contrast to the open plains of Serengeti.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Today, your adventure begins with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Known as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, the crater is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife living in harmony within its lush floor.
Spend the morning on an extensive game drive, exploring the crater’s grasslands, woodlands, and wetlands. You’ll have the opportunity to spot some of Africa’s most iconic animals — from lions and elephants to zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino.
Around midday, enjoy a hot lunch at a scenic picnic site inside the crater, surrounded by sweeping views and the sounds of nature. Afterward, continue with a leisurely game drive as you make your way out of the crater.
In the late afternoon, drive back to Ngedere Lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Ngorongoro Crater Highlights:

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park & Return to Arusha
This morning, enjoy a final 5–6-hour game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a true gem of Tanzania’s northern circuit. The park is celebrated for its diverse ecosystems, from dense woodlands and open savannas to the sparkling soda lake that attracts flocks of flamingos and other bird species.
As you explore, keep your eyes peeled for tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and a variety of colorful birdlife. The park’s compact size and stunning scenery make it the perfect finale to your safari adventure.
After your game drive, begin your return journey to Arusha (approximately 2 hours). Depending on your flight schedule or onward plans, you may take some time to relax or explore the town before your transfer to the airport or hotel.
