Day 1: Arusha → Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your guide will pick you up for an exciting journey to Ngorongoro Crater, descending over 600 meters into this iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The crater is a biodiversity hotspot, home to an impressive variety of wildlife including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard add thrill to your game drive, often requiring a keen eye to spot.
A highlight of today’s excursion is Lake Magadi, a large, shallow, alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, which attracts flocks of flamingos, hippos, and other waterbirds.
In the late afternoon, you’ll transfer to your accommodation at Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp, a luxury tented camp located on the crater rim, offering spectacular views of this natural wonder.

Enter the Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate and begin an exciting afternoon game drive en route to your lodge or camp. Spot iconic wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and vast herds of wildebeest, while keeping an eye out for colorful bird species like the lilac-breasted roller. As the sun sets over the endless plains, arrive at your accommodations to unwind, or optionally embark on a night safari to explore the Serengeti’s nocturnal wonders.

As the day comes to a close, experience the magical Serengeti sunset before returning to your lodge or camp to relax under the starry African sky.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Final Game Drive & Departure

After lunch and some final moments to soak in the Serengeti wilderness, you will transfer to Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. Enjoy a scenic drive through the heart of the Serengeti, where you may encounter more wildlife along the way, before boarding your flight and bidding farewell to this unforgettable safari experience.
