  • After breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, you will meet your driver-guide for a short briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
  • The park lies along the Tarangire River on the Great Rift Valley floor and features rolling low-lying hills, vast acacia woodlands, iconic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps in the south.
  • During the dry season, the river and swamps attract large concentrations of wildlife, making Tarangire one of the best safari destinations in northern Tanzania. The park is especially famous for hosting some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
