Safety on game drives

Stay inside the vehicle unless your guide gives permission, keep voices low around wildlife, and never approach or feed animals. Follow your guide's instructions at sightings, especially near elephants, predators and water.

Health and personal comfort

• Carry drinking water, sun protection, insect repellent and a light jacket.
• Discuss medical needs and travel insurance before departure.
• Use hand sanitiser and follow food and water advice from your accommodation.
• Tell your guide about allergies, medication and mobility needs.

Camp and road awareness

Use a torch after dark, respect camp boundaries, keep valuables secure and avoid walking alone outside designated areas. Roads can be rough, so seat belts and sensible packing matter.

Responsible wildlife travel

Keep a respectful distance, avoid loud music and choose operators that support conservation and local communities.
