📋 Day-by-Day Itinerary
- After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha and a short safari briefing, you will drive to the iconic Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is a peaceful and less-crowded gem in northern Tanzania, best known for its large elephant migration, rich birdlife, and authentic wilderness atmosphere. The park is dominated by vast savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and many bird species. Lunch will be served picnic-style inside the park, followed by continued wildlife viewing into the evening. After the game drive, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
- After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. The Central Serengeti (Seronera area) is one of Africa’s richest wildlife ecosystems, home to large populations of lions, leopards, elephants, and plains game. The abundance of prey makes it one of the best places in Africa to observe big cats. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the bush, continuing your search for the Big Five and other iconic wildlife. - After breakfast, travel north into the remote wilderness of the Northern Serengeti, one of the best places to witness the Great Migration (seasonal). This region is famous for dramatic landscapes, river crossings, and large concentrations of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras. Arrive at your migration camp in time for dinner and relaxation under the African sky. meals included
- Spend a full day exploring the Northern Serengeti ecosystem with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Mara River crossings, where wildebeest face crocodile-infested waters in one of nature’s greatest survival dramas. Expect excellent predator action, including lions and cheetahs following migrating herds. Return to your luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight stay. meals included
- Enjoy a morning game drive as you slowly make your way back toward Central Serengeti, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the route. After lunch and final game viewing in the Serengeti plains, exit the park and continue to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation. meals included
- After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. With luck, you may spot the legendary Big Five in a single game drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater and returning to Arusha, where your safari ends in the late afternoon.
